EGYPT CURSED ABRAM AND GERAR BLESSED

How Egypt cursed Abram and later is blessed by a descendant, and how Abimelech king of Gerar, a Philistine, blessed Abraham. Text: Genesis chapters 12,20,26,37, 39-41 AND Exodus 1

When God chose Abram and said, who ever blesses shall be blessed and who ever curses shall be cursed, and all the earth shall be blessed because of Abram, is because God when God makes a covenant, he will keep it. Because He is the I am that I am the covenant keeper.

So who ever tries to destroy God promise, his covenant, God shall curse them like he did to Egypt, and Abimelech but one of these chose to curse and one chose to curse.

We all understand keeping our word. so we understand God keeping his. We also know what it means to fear, cower, run away from tribulations and trials.

When Abram heard the call, to go to the Land of Canaan, He didn’t know what was happening in Canaan as there was a famine in the land.  Abram chose to flee to Egypt because food  and water was there, just as it was during Joseph almost 200 years later.

So Abram goes to Egypt, but he also know the evil Egypt is. he knew men lust after the flesh, knew men take multiple wives, like Pharaoh and because Sarah was beautiful, Abram kept some of the truth hidden, so he wouldn’t lose his life, and Sarah taken, like how Ester being jewish wasn’t revealed to King Ahauserus of Persia.

Now Pharaoh took Sarah as a wife, and God wanting to protect his promise, cursed pharaoh ’s house with disease. so pharaoh called the magicians and found by sorcery Abram was the problem, because of taking Sarai for wife. So Pharaoh went out and confronted Abram which is right, but told Abram to leave, instead of securing Abram and Sarai, refusing to understanding the nature of man, and Pharaoh began this hatred of Hebrews.

So what  Abram did lying to Pharaoh caused Egypt to hate Hebrews which Abram was a Hebrew, and this was indoctrinated into Egypt for years, even today.

Gen 43:32 they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

Years later with Joseph a Hebrew son of Israel, was sold to Ishmaelites by his brother’s and then sold into Egypt Gen 37.

God raises Joseph up for his integrity, with Potiphar, and though a lie caused Joseph to imprisonment, he kept his integrity and was later called upon Pharaoh to interpret a dream as Joseph was given ability to, by God.

This led Joseph to save or bless the nation of Egypt from death, as he prepared Egypt to store grain to survive the coming famine. So God promise to Abram, blessed the nations of the world or Egypt.

Years later a Pharaoh rises and forgets the blessing of Joseph and Israel, and reenacted hated towards the Hebrew Israelites. Like Woodrow Wilson 1912 reenacting segregation of blacks and whites, because he hated negroes.

Ex 1;8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. And he said unto his people,

9 Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:

10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falls out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

11Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens

So Egypt curses Israel and because God is covenant keeper Gen 15, he will come in 400 years and deliver his people by cursing Egypt. So whoever curses Abram, shall be cursed.

Now who is this Abimelech?

Abimelech is the title of king for Philistines,
Abimelech was king of Gerar,  later a city of Philistines.

Now Abraham had traveled down to Gerar and found land for his herds. Agin knowing the evil of kings taking wives, he sought Sarah to maintain the same deception to protect life.

Abimelech had seen her beauty, took her by counsel of Abraham and God cursed Abimelech with sterility. Abimelech was confronted in a dream by God not to touch Sarai, and he claimed his innocence, and God, said he knew that and kept Abimelech from defiling Sarah and the covenant. Would a father protect his daughter from evil?

So Abimelech goes out rebukes Abraham which is right to correct, then blesses Abraham to stay in the land and makes a law not to touch Abrahams wife, family and business. Abimelech noticed the blessing of god with Abraham and sought that blessing to rub off on him.

years later Isaac shall do the same, but Abimelech shall also show favor to bless Isaac.

So again the word of God to Abram, prevailed as Abimelech blessed Abram , so Abimelech was blessed. so Philistine nation which is the area of Gaza today was blessed, unlike Hamas in Gaza today as they curse Israel: to lie, steal, manipulate, dig tunnels, use Gazan’s as defense shields so they die to blame Israel of Evil, like the starvation in Gaza is Israels fault as they will not allow food to enter but through them, but this barricade, or stop is so weapons do not go through U.N. and false humanitarian charities, so Hamas can continue their evil.

So this covenant upon Abraham and his people Israel continues to this day.

Israel is no saint any more than any of us, as why did it take so long to respond on Oct 7th Yom kippur.

but When the nations protect the evil of Hamas and blame Israel for starvation and murder. this whole war would have been over if Hamas and Gazans stopped, released the hostages and came out in surrender with tossed weapons and hands up, but if Hamas can gain the sympathy of the world, then they shall never surrender, this causing Israel to have to take Gaza for their own sustaining of a nation.

Israel has not control of USA, Israel lobbies USA, as much as Muslim brotherhood, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, England, Ecuador, El-Salvador etc.

Didn’t President Trump get angry with Israel and call saying do not send planes against Iran after they violated the peace? does that sound like President Trump is Netanyahu’s puppet? No!

Didn’t Netanyahu refrain from going into Gaza during Biden because he didn’t have the weapons, Biden held back approved by congress?

Egypt doesn’t want Israel in the world at all, or wants them as their slave, if must have to endure them. Egypt is just like Cai and Esau who hates Abel and jacob for being accepted by God, and just like Hitler with the holocaust against the Jews.

Gerar which means sojourning, blesses Abram and Isaac with a place to sojourn, and blessing them with security, trade, and acceptance, like, USA and U.N. accepting Israel as a nation on May 14th, 1948 (Isa 66:8), but next day all the Arab nations sought to make Palestine free from river to sea, or annihilating Israel all together. Isa 66:8

IF YOU HAVE HATRED OF ISRAEL, RATHER THAN HOPE OF SALVATION FOR THEM, THEN YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH GOD, OR HAVE A PROBLEM, WITH WHOM, HE GIVES BLESSING, & SALVATION, AS YOU REJECT HIS COVENANT OF BLESSING, AND EVEN CHRIST WHO CAME THROUGH ABRAM AND ISRAEL, WHOM YOU THINK SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR.

Does not USA have a declaration of Independence, which says, “we are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.” did not our founders believe this all men, not just them, slaves, England and so on. Does it not apply to Israel and the nation of Israel as they establish they want for themselves. To Hamas, England, France, Arab nations do not believe they have these rights.

Is this not the question, Egypt wanted to deny it to Israel, making them slaves, and then Moses to murder him as a child, and then all the nations which went up against them while in the land, Haman sought to destroy the jews, Herod sought to destroy the child Jesus, Hadrian in 135A.D. mocked Israel as calling it Palestine a roman region of Rome and pagan god, and root word of Philistines. Then Hitler sought to destroy Israel or the jews and another is coming as well. Rev 12
