Why do you need Jesus?
You do not have to need anything if you don’t want. If I was your doctor and I told you, you had high cholesterol and it will kill you soon unless you change your habits, you would do it. If I told you that you had a rare disease that was fatal and that the medicine was $10,000, and wasn’t covered by healthcare, you would take out a loan, or sell your car or something to save your life.
If I told you that you are dead already, you might say I’m crazy, but I’m not. God has said in his word the Bible, “that the wages of sin is death, and that all have sinned and fall short of his glory”. Maybe you don’t know what sin is. It is disobedience to Gods’ commands. Gal 5:19-21 Now sin is: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, lying, theft and the like; of which I tell you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. If you have committed or even thought to commit any of these you have sinned. I have already told you the penalty, DEATH.
But God sent his Son Jesus to die in your place for your sins, to give you a cure so that you will not die, but have life. By his death on the cross He took upon Himself all the sins of the world, and by His blood your sins would be washed away just by believing (commitment). But to refuse this free gift of life is like saying “No” to the medicine that would save your life.
Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me”. This means that your works can’t save you, which would be your way, not Jesus’ way. Jesus way is to believe on him who the Father has sent, and to accept his death on the cross for your sins, and then you may have life. To believe means to commit, or trust that Jesus can and will save you and knows how you should live. This means Jesus to be Lord, King and Boss of your life. Jesus is the only way for you to have life or it means death, and death is damnation or hell for an eternity, where there will be weeping and gritting of teeth.
Read the bible for yourself. See if it is not so. If so; you have a responsibility to choose life or to just shrug off this Jesus and die an eternal, forever death.

STEPS TO LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST
- acknowledge yourself a sinner
- Ask Jesus to be boss and savior of your life, to give you a new heart, to give you new birth in his kingdom.
- repent meaning to make an about face direction or 180 degrees, in the direction to seek Jesus and his ways,
- Start praying, read the Holy Bible, get in a Bible believing church, ask for the Holy Spirit to teach you truth.
- Worship God who has given you life for he is worthy, He wants you to know him in a personal way.
