TRUMP OF GOD
God has a way of mocking man. God does it to wake people up, it is like using humor, to make people aware of their obsurity of what they are doing?
God mocked the egyptians with the ten plagues, as God used Egypts own gods they worship to damage them, and then as God, shielded and protected Israel in their own land. God was proving Himself to be the true and living God, Creator of all things. But because man goes after their own devices, God had to take the lives of the firstborn and still they wouldn’t change. God did it with the Philistines, when taking the Ark of God and they placed it in the Temple of Dagon, Dagon was knocked over or damaged eveyday. They didn’t repent either, because they refused to worship God, and only thought that Israels God was only for Israel.
Genesis 5 has a man by the name of Enoch who has a son named Methuselah, meaning “His death shall bring”. Enoch knew this to mean "the Judgment” or knowing of the flood destruction, so Enoch chose to walk with God. Then it speaks of Enoch living 365 years and then being no more, meaning he disappeared or removed from earth to Heaven, because he walked with God, this happenned before Methuselah died. 4 years after Methuselah's death, the flood came.
1 Thessalonians chapter 4 starts out as believers, walking and pleasing God like Enoch, then coming to verse 16, “the Lord shall descend from with a shout, and the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise, V17 Then we which are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” “Caught up" is the word, “Harpazo” in greek and “Rapturo” in Latin, which is like a parent who pulls child up from the fire, or from them burning their hand on a hot stove. It is an "abrupt action”
Revelations 4;1 is that abrupt action or rapture where Christ speaks from heaven as the sound of a trumpet, and pulls his beloved, John (picture of church bride) into the heavens. So we the church or body of believers in Christ are to walk and please God in expectation of Christ shouting, or trumpeting his call of the church being raptured to Him in the air, before the judgment of the world.
This is the picture of the Bridegroom (a traditional Jewish wedding in those days) who is coming for his bride and all the virgins waiting to celebrate the bride joining the bridegroom, are watching in expectation, keeping their wicks trimmed in the lamps and having extra oil if the bridegroom is belated. This is Matthew 25, but 5 of the ten virgins were foolish for they didn’t expect the belated coming of the bridegroom. They were lazy, not prepared, not watching, distracted from their watch. This leads to the issue of two men will be in a field, one shall be taken, one shall be left, two women shall be kneeading, one shall be taken and the other left. This is picture of the rapture of the believer taken and unbeliever left, for the judgment.
Now what did I mean when God mocks? Methuselah was born, his name meant”his death shall bring” Now we have a word, which is upon everyones tongue, “Trump” which coincides with 1 Thessalonians 4:16, “when the trump of God sounds”. We do not know the hour, or day. and neither should we place our trust in Trump. But we need to be aware that God Loves you and wants you to be in His Kingdom, and it only comes when we place our trust in what Christ did for us on the cross and accept the life which he wants us to live.
Enoch means dedicated or trained, Are you dedicated or trained to walk and please God?
So where shall you be when Jesus shouts as the voice or call of the trumpet? Walking and pleasing God or Not?
